Who would have known?
Well, who would have known that a 52 year old lady, who thinks she's still 35, would be working to take classes online towards her master's? Certainly not me! The coolest thing about this is that I'm in class with all these much younger students and I'm surviving! I'm sure it takes me much longer to do things than it takes them, believe me. I work with younger teachers and they are amazingly fast at everything! Maybe I need to start realizing I'm NOT even close to being 35, maybe I'm really 52??
I've LOVED my online classes so far. I've learned so much and actually an not happy about the assignments that my one teacher has taken out of our syllabus due to shortage of time. I actually want to do those assignments because of the learning I feel like I'm missing. I do NOT like to miss anything. I've always been that way about everything.
Well, it's almost the end of my 3rd semester of online classes, taking two classes each semester for three semesters in a row. That means in a few short weeks, I'll be half way finished with my master's program!! Woo, Hoo, I can do this! Believe me, there was a point that I wasn't sure if I COULD do this when I first started. I've gotten into the rhythn of managing working full time and taking classes online part time. My life would have been SOOOO different if I would have had to actually go into KSU for the past three semesters for these classes.
Online classes ROCK!!! The flexibility it gives you is amazing! I was able to take a mini vacation while not missing classes and I even had surgery and didn't have to miss class. I had to work my butt off to get caught up afterward but I was able to squeeze those two important things in this summer while taking classes!
